FinanceCruncher provides free finance calculators without requiring an account. This page describes what information the site uses and how it is handled.

Calculator inputs

Calculations run in your browser. The numbers you enter are used to update estimates on the page and are not sent to FinanceCruncher for storage. Do not enter sensitive personal financial details into these tools.

Analytics

In production, FinanceCruncher uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views, referral sources, and general device or browser characteristics. Google may collect information including IP address, cookies, and identifiers associated with your visit. FinanceCruncher does not use analytics to collect the financial values you type into calculators.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies to recognize returning visits and measure traffic. FinanceCruncher may also use local browser storage for site functionality, such as remembering preferences on your device. These values stay on your device unless you clear them.

Hosting and logs

Like most websites, FinanceCruncher is served through hosting infrastructure that may automatically log technical information such as IP address, request time, and browser type for security and reliability. FinanceCruncher does not sell personal information.

Advertising

FinanceCruncher does not currently serve third-party advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated to describe any ad partners, additional cookies, and how they may use data before those services go live.

Children

FinanceCruncher is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
